Parametrically analyze and study the fluid flow and temperature characteristics of cool-down of the 33.5 Ton prototype cryostat using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods. Determine an acceptable way off cooling down the membrane without exceeding the manufacturers criteria for cooldown rate, maximum 15K/hr from room temperature to 200K and maximum of 10 K/hr below 200K. Attempt to keep a fairly homogeneous temperature gradient in the gas space, as if cooling a TPC and frame.
